The Honeywell SensePoint XCD is a compact gas detector for measuring toxic or flammable (both catalytic and infrared) gases. The instrument is suitable for installation in zoned areas according to ATEX137 .
Sensepoint XCD
With the Sensepoint XCD detection system, Honeywell provides easy to use, low maintenance sensory devices for monitoring explosive atmospheric conditions in a variety of industrial settings. The Sensepoint XCD system monitors for explosive oxygen gas, toxic gas, and flammable conditions and constantly relays status through transmitters utilizing a simply traffic light LCD system which can be easily seen and understood from a distance.
The analog output and programmable contacts allow direct connection of signaling and peripheral equipment.
The Sensepoint XCD uses a three-colour LCD display that clearly indicates the status of the gas detector. A steady green backlight indicates normal operation; flashing yellow indicates a fault and flashing red indicates an alarm.

Each transmitter will automatically recognize the sensor within its category. The plug-in design of the sensors allows users to simply plug the sensor into the transmitter. The transmitter will automatically adjust and configure for the appropriate sensor settings.
